Through the program, qualified scholars receive financial assistance that can help cover educational expenses, allowing deserving students to continue their college education regardless of their financial situation.

The EASE Program reflects CHED’s commitment to promoting inclusive, accessible, and equitable higher education by extending scholarship opportunities to students belonging to Special Equity Groups.

Who Can Apply?

CHED Regional Office X encourages eligible incoming first-year college students to apply if they meet the following qualifications:

  • Filipino citizen currently residing in the Philippines.
  • A duly certified member of a recognized Special Equity Group (SEG).
  • A Senior High School graduate who satisfies the eligibility requirements under CHED Memorandum Order No. 14, s. 2026.

Applicants must also comply with the documentary requirements prescribed by CHED before submitting their scholarship application.

Scholarship Benefits

Successful applicants under the CHED EASE Scholarship Program may receive financial assistance intended to help them pursue higher education.

The program aims to:

  • Reduce financial barriers to college education.
  • Promote equal access to higher education.
  • Support students from marginalized communities.
  • Encourage academic excellence and educational advancement.
  • Increase college participation among Special Equity Groups.

Application Deadline

Interested applicants must complete and submit their scholarship applications on or before July 31, 2026.

Because scholarship slots may be limited, applicants are strongly encouraged to prepare their documentary requirements early and submit complete applications before the deadline.

Late or incomplete applications may not be accepted.

Documentary Requirements

Before submitting an application, students should carefully review the official list of documentary requirements issued by CHED Regional Office X.

Applicants are advised to prepare all required documents, including proof of eligibility as a member of a recognized Special Equity Group, academic records, identification documents, and any additional requirements specified under the scholarship guidelines.

Submitting complete and accurate documents helps avoid delays during the evaluation process.

Why Students Should Apply

College education can be financially challenging for many Filipino families. Through scholarship programs like EASE, CHED helps deserving students overcome financial obstacles and continue pursuing their academic dreams.

Aside from financial support, the scholarship also encourages students from underserved communities to complete higher education and eventually contribute to the development of their families, communities, and the country.

Important Reminder

Applicants are encouraged to carefully review all eligibility requirements before submitting their applications.

Students should also monitor official announcements from CHED Regional Office X and their respective schools for additional instructions, updates, and scholarship results.

CHED EASE Scholarship 2026

The opening of applications for the CHED EASE Scholarship Program for Academic Year 2026–2027 provides another valuable opportunity for qualified incoming college students belonging to Special Equity Groups (SEGs) to pursue higher education with financial assistance.

If you meet the eligibility requirements, complete your application and submit all required documents before the July 31, 2026 deadline. This scholarship could help you achieve your educational goals while reducing the financial burden of college.

PRCWorld.ph encourages all qualified students to apply early and regularly check official CHED announcements for further updates regarding the scholarship program.
