Highest Passing Rate:-The highest passing rate was recorded in the February 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination, where 30,320 examinees passed out of 45,936, resulting in a 66.00% passing rate.
Lowest Passing Rate: The lowest passing rate occurred in April 2011, with only 2,361 passers out of 10,943 examinees, equivalent to 21.58%.
Highest Number of Passers: The largest number of successful examinees was recorded in February 2026, producing 30,320 new licensed criminologists.
Highest Number of Examinees: The November 2020 CLE recorded the highest number of examinees, with 43,512 candidates taking the exam.
Passers Overview
From 2010 to 2026, the number of successful examinees has steadily increased over time. Earlier exams typically recorded 3,000 to 10,000 passers, while more recent exams have produced significantly larger numbers of licensed criminologists.

Passing Rate Trends (2010–2026)
2010-2014: Moderate Passing Rates
During this period, passing rates mostly ranged between 30% and 45%, indicating a balanced level of exam difficulty and candidate preparation.
2015-2017: Decline in Passing Rates
Between 2015 and 2017, passing rates slightly dropped, with some exams recording below 30%, showing a more challenging examination period.
2018-2020: Gradual Improvement
From 2018 to 2020, passing rates began to increase again. The November 2020 exam reached 44.11%, showing improvement in examinee performance.
2022-2026: Significant Increase
Recent years show a strong upward trend in passing percentages. The July 2024 exam reached 49.34%, while February 2025 jumped to 60.50%. The February 2026 CLE recorded the highest passing rate at 66.00%, marking a significant milestone in the exam’s history.
