How to Register for the Face-to-Face Oathtaking

Successful examinees must register through the PRC’s Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS).

Registration Deadline

Participants must confirm their attendance not later than 12:00 noon on the day before the scheduled oathtaking. Late registrations may no longer be accommodated. Applicants should complete their registration early to improve their chances of securing a seat.

Dress Code Requirements

The PRC requires all inductees attending the ceremony to wear: Business Formal Attire. Professional attire is expected throughout the event to maintain the formal nature of the oathtaking ceremony. Participants should also arrive early to complete any remaining verification procedures before the ceremony begins.

Oath Form with QR Code

All attendees are required to print their Oath Form generated through the PRC online system. The printed document must contain the participant’s personal QR code. During the ceremony, the Oath Form will be collected and tagged as “Attended”, confirming the participant’s presence during the oath-taking.

Applicants should verify that their printed QR code is clear and readable before arriving at the venue.

Important Ticket Reservation Reminder

The PRC emphasized that completing registration through LERIS does not automatically reserve a seat for the oathtaking. Participants must also obtain an official event ticket. Seating capacity is limited and tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants are encouraged to secure their tickets as early as possible.

How to Secure Oathtaking Tickets

Successful examinees have two options for obtaining their tickets.

Online Ticket Reservation

Applicants may reserve tickets online before June 26, 2026 using the designated reservation form provided by the event organizer. Early reservation is recommended because ticket availability is limited.

Email Reservation

Individuals may also request tickets by sending their:

  • Full Name
  • Profession

to the official event organizer through email. Providing complete information can help speed up the reservation process.

Walk-In Reservation

Applicants who prefer personal transactions may visit the organizer’s office in Sampaloc, Manila. Visitors should note that the office is closed during weekends and holidays.

What If You Cannot Attend the Face-to-Face Ceremony?

New Occupational Therapists who cannot attend the scheduled face-to-face oathtaking will still have alternative options.

Online Oathtaking

  • The PRC announced that an online oathtaking ceremony will be scheduled separately.
  • Details regarding the online ceremony will be announced once the official schedule has been finalized.

Special Oathtaking

Applicants who cannot participate in either ceremony may request a special oathtaking in accordance with PRC guidelines. Interested individuals should monitor future announcements regarding procedures and schedules.

Initial Registration After Oathtaking

After completing the oath-taking ceremony, newly licensed Occupational Therapists may proceed with their Initial Registration. Applicants must first secure an online appointment through the PRC online appointment system before visiting the designated PRC office.

Completing the registration process is necessary before the issuance of the Professional Identification Card (PIC).

Why the Oathtaking Is Important

The oath-taking ceremony represents one of the most significant milestones in the professional journey of newly licensed Occupational Therapists. During the ceremony, successful examinees formally pledge to uphold ethical standards, professional competence, and public service responsibilities.

The oath also symbolizes their official entry into the regulated profession.
