The face to face oathtaking ceremony for newly licensed nurses will be held on February 14, 2026 at 8:00 A.M. at the Claire Isabel McGill Luce Auditorium, Silliman University in Dumaguete City. This in person ceremony is a key step for successful examinees of the Nursing Licensure Examination as they formally take their oath and begin their professional journey in nursing.

How to Attend Oathtaking of New Nurses
New nurses who passed the board exam and wish to attend the oathtaking must complete these steps:

Register Online: All inductees must register for the face to face oathtaking via the PRC online portal by 12:00 noon of the day before the ceremony.
Visit https://online.prc.gov.ph
to confirm attendance and secure your place at the event.
Print Your Oath Form
After registering, you must print the Oath Form with your generated QR code. This form must be presented at the ceremony and scanned to officially mark your attendance.
Prepare Required Items
- The printed Oath Form with QR code
- A valid ID for identity verification
- Appropriate attire as required by PRC guidelines
What to Do If You Can’t Attend
If you are unable to attend the scheduled face to face oathtaking at Silliman University, you may: Join an online oathtaking session once scheduled.
Request a special oathtaking appointment at a later date.

After the Oathtaking Ceremony
Once you have taken your oath, the next step is to proceed with your Initial Registration as a professional nurse. You must schedule and complete this by securing an online appointment at https://online.prc.gov.ph/.
Completing your initial registration allows you to receive your Professional Identification Card (PIC) and Certificate of Registration, officially authorizing you to practice nursing in the Philippines.
