The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has officially released the room assignments for the January 2026 Architect Licensure Exam (ALE). Aspiring architects are advised to verify their assigned exam centers and prepare adequately for the big day.

The Architect Licensure Exams are scheduled on January 20 and January 22, 2026. The exams will be conducted in major testing hubs nationwide to accommodate thousands of examinees. Key locations include.

Important Reminders for Examinees
Reporting Time
Candidates must arrive early before 5:30 AM on their scheduled exam days for Reporting. Latecomers will not be permitted to enter the testing venue.
What to Bring
To ensure a smooth testing experience, examinees must bring:
- Notice of Admission (NOA)
- Official receipt of application
- Metered stamped window mailing envelope
- No. 2 pencils
- Black ink ball pens
- Long brown envelope
- Long transparent/plastic envelope for valuables
Allowed & Not Allowed items for Architect Licensure Exam (ALE) Room Assignments January 2026
“Your valuables and the following ALLOWED ITEMS must be placed inside one (1) long
transparent/plastic envelope”
a. Notice of Admission (NOA), Strictly NO NOA, NO ADMISSION to the examination
rooms
b. One (1) piece metered-stamp window mailing envelope
a. Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
b. One (1) piece long brown envelope
c. NON-PROGRAMMABLE CALCULATORS (Please refer to Commission
Resolution No. 1809-2024 or the “Updated list of Non-Programmable
Calculators Allowed to be used in the Licensures Examinations”)
• Only one (1) calculator shall be allowed to be used.
• Calculators shall be inspected and reset before the start of the examination.
FOOD, MEDICINE, AND PERSONAL ITEMS
Examinees must bring packed snacks/meals and necessary medications, including hygiene
and sanitary kits, all of which should be placed in transparent/clear containers or cellophane,
along with a sufficient supply of drinking water for the day.
IMPORTANT:
a. Proctors/room watchers are strictlyprohibited from accepting or distributing food
from any person, including delivery services, during the examination.
b. NO EXAMINEE SHALL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE EXAMINATION ROOM
during the conduct of the examination, except for restroom necessities.
Dress Code Guidelines
PRC enforces a strict dress code during board exams:
Male examinees: Tucked in plain white polo with collar and decent trousers
Female examinees: Tucked in plain white blouse/shirt with collar and decent trousers or skirt
No logos, marks, or printed designs are allowed on the clothing.
Prohibited Items
- To maintain exam integrity, the following items are banned inside the testing room:
- Smart devices (phones, smartwatches)
- Bags of any kind
- Calculators that are programmable
- Books, notes, or review materials with codes or formulas
- Earphones or other communication tools.
