Boys and Girls PSLCE Pass Rate 2026
The 2026 PSLCE results also show a difference in performance between male and female candidates.
According to the reported results, 101,548 male candidates passed out of 118,511 who sat for the examination, giving a pass rate of 85.69%. Among female candidates, 97,355 passed out of 126,537, representing a 76.94% pass rate.
What Is PSLCE?
The Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) is a national examination administered by MANEB at the end of primary education in Malawi.
MANEB is responsible for developing and administering national examinations for certification, selection and placement purposes. The board was established in 1987 following the merger of the Malawi Certificate Examinations and Testing Board and the examinations section of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
