The University of the Philippines has officially released the UP College Admission Test (UPCAT) Results 2026 for Academic Year 2026-2027 on April 22, 2026. Thousands of aspiring students can now check whether they have qualified to become the next Iskolar ng Bayan through the official results portal.
This year’s UPCAT is once again highly competitive, with over 147,000 applicants who took the exam nationwide. Out of these, 18,350 examinees successfully passed, resulting in an overall passing rate of 12.44%.

How to Check UPCAT 2026 Results
Applicants can access their results through the official UPCAT portal using their login credentials. To ensure smooth access, UP implemented a scheduled login system based on the first letter of the applicant’s surname:
- A-F: 7:00 AM – 9:59 AM
- G-M: 10:00 AM – 12:59 PM
- N-S: 1:00 PM – 3:59 PM
- T-Z: 4:00 PM – 6:59 PM
- 7:00 PM onwards: Open to all

- Enter your Email and Password, and Captcha. Click on Login button.

Deadline for Confirmation
All successful applicants must confirm their admission slot on or before May 16, 2026. Failure to respond within the deadline may result in forfeiture of the offered slot.
How UPCAT Results Are Computed
Admission to UP is based on the University Predicted Grade (UPG), which is calculated using:
- 60% UPCAT Score
- 40% High School Grades (Grades 8 to 11)
