How to Track Your PRC License Delivery Status Online: A Complete Guide

The Professional Regulation Commission plays a vital role in regulating professions in the Philippines. For millions of licensed professionals nurses, teachers, engineers, accountants, pharmacists, and more the PRC license is more than just an ID card. It is a proof of their qualifications and authority to practice their profession legally.

In recent years, PRC has improved its services by allowing professionals to renew licenses online and have their new PRC IDs delivered straight to their homes. This is a big relief for those who live far from PRC offices or have busy work schedules.

But after you process your renewal and pay for courier delivery, one big question remains: How do you track your PRC license delivery status online?

Why Choose Delivery for PRC License Renewal?

Before we dive into tracking, let’s understand why more professionals prefer delivery over pick up.

1. Convenience:- No need to travel to PRC offices and line up.

2. Time-Saving:- Especially helpful for OFWs’ representatives or busy professionals.

3. Safe and Secure:- Your PRC ID will be delivered to your preferred address.

4. Nationwide Coverage:- Courier partners can deliver to most cities and provinces.

5. Simple Tracking:- You can check your delivery status online anytime.

How PRC License Delivery Works

When you renew your license through the PRC Online Services, you can choose either:

Pick up at PRC office:- Claim it personally during your scheduled appointment.

Courier delivery service:- Have it shipped to your address.

If you choose delivery, you will pay an additional fee and provide your complete delivery details (name, address, contact number). Once processed, your PRC ID will be sent through PRC’s accredited courier partner.

Step by Step Guide

How to Track Your PRC License Delivery Status Online

Step 1: Renew Your License Online

Visit https://www.prc.gov.ph or https://online.prc.gov.ph
Log in to your account (or register if you’re new)
Select Renewal under Transactions
Fill in required details and pay renewal plus courier fee
Choose Delivery Option and confirm your address

Step 2: Wait for Processing Confirmation

After completing your renewal, PRC will process your request. You will be notified via email or SMS once your license has been turned over to the courier for delivery.

Step 3: Check Courier Partner Website

PRC works with courier partners such as PDC Express for ID delivery.

  • Visit the courier’s official tracking page.
  • Enter your tracking number or reference number provided by PRC/courier
  • Click Track to see the status of your delivery

Step 4: Monitor Delivery Updates

The status may include:

Received at PRC:- Courier has picked up your ID from PRC
In Transit:- Your ID is on its way to the local hub or province
Out for Delivery:- Courier is about to deliver it to your address
Delivered:- Successfully received by you or your authorized representative

Step 5: Receive Your PRC ID

When your PRC ID arrives:

Present a valid government-issued ID
If someone else is receiving it, provide an authorization letter and photocopies of IDs.

What If You Didn’t Get a Tracking Number?

Sometimes, applicants forget to save their tracking details or do not receive them via email. Here is what you can do:

1. Check Your Email or SMSL:-Look for confirmation from PRC or courier.
2. Log in to PRC Online Portal:-See if delivery details are included in your transaction history.
3. Contact the Courier Hotline:- Provide your full name and transaction details.
4. Reach Out to PRC Customer Service:- They can help retrieve your tracking number.

Common Issues in PRC License Delivery

Even with online tracking, some issues may arise:

1. Delayed Delivery

Causes: high volume of applications, provincial addresses, or holidays
Solution: Track regularly and call the courier hotline if it takes too long

2. Wrong Address

Solution: Contact the courier immediately to update your delivery details

3. Failed Delivery Attempt

If no one was available to receive the package, the courier may reattempt or hold it at the nearest branch

4. Lost or Unclaimed IDs

Rare but possible; contact both PRC and courier for assistance

How Much Is the Courier Fee?

The delivery fee may vary depending on your location. On average:

Always check the latest fees during your PRC renewal transaction.

Tips for Smooth PRC ID Delivery

1. Double Check Your Address: Make sure it’s complete with house/unit number, street, barangay, city, and ZIP code.
2. Provide an Active Contact Number: Courier will call or text before delivery.
3. Save Your Tracking Number: Take a screenshot or write it down.
4. Track Regularly: Check the courier’s website every few days.
5. Assign a Representative: If you’re not home, authorize a family member to receive it.
6. Keep Receipts and Emails: Useful in case of disputes or delays.
